The facility is a 21-bed specialty care hospital and the only one of its kind in the region that is designed to meet the needs of patients who are critically ill and require extended medically complex care. Atmore Community Hospital is a 49-bed facility serving communities in Escambia and Monroe counties in Alabama as well as those in nearby Escambia County Fla. became affiliated with Infirmary Health in June of 2015.
